Mickie James defeated Victoria by pinfall in a triple-threat match in Paris, France during a RAW house show. The title change supposedly was not supposed to happen as a rematch was later scheduled during the same card with Mickie James defending against former champion Melina.
Melina regained the Womens title in the same house show when she lost the title during a triple-threat match with Victoria and Mickie James that saw Mickie James pinning Victoria. Melina demanded a rematch with the new champion and regained her title when she pinned Mickie James with her feet on the ropes.
